The challenge
Chelsea Apps Factory needed a reliable partner to scale delivery on demanding mobile projects - spanning consumer iOS apps, cross-platform enterprise chat, and AI-assisted health products with e-commerce. Each engagement required strong UX, real-time features, third-party integrations, and the flexibility to work within an agency delivery model.
Our approach
Freshbyte embedded with Chelsea Apps Factory to ship multiple apps end to end. For Founders4Schools, we built Workfinder - an iOS app that helps high school students discover work opportunities nearby, apply through the app, track applications, and message employers, with Google Maps integration and a full internship application flow.
For Onecom, one of the UK's largest telecommunications providers, we delivered Trunk - an internal chat app connecting employees with real-time and group messaging, media sharing, and contacts import, built for iOS and Android using Swift, Java, and XMPP.
For VITL, we developed an iOS health consultation app combining a slick chatbot experience powered by IBM Watson and Rainbird.ai, free health assessments, vitamin pack subscriptions, and Stripe mobile payments - supported by a PHP Symfony backend.
