We are looking for an experienced Magento developer to build and maintain websites and web applications through skill and performance.
You will work on developing a Customer Loyalty Application for industries like Hospitality, Railway or Airlines, while closely collaborating with our clients in UK.
Technical Skills
- Hands on experience with Magento (min. 2 yrs.)
- Intermediate understanding of front-end technologies: HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Web Services, Modules, API Integration
- Intermediate understanding of MS-SQL and/or MySQL
- Good understanding of OOP principles and designs
- Knowledge of design patterns
- Versioning systems knowledge (GIT)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)
Nice to have
- eCommerce industry knowledge
- Agile methodology
- JIRA operating knowledge
- Magento Developer Certification
- Degree qualified in Software engineering/Computer science or related degree
Key responsibilities
- Development of applications
- Feature maintenance and bug fixing
- Continuous improvement of the development process;
- Identifying issues and recommending solutions in order to meet project requirements
- Direct communication with client
- Code reviews
